You wind your way through the upper-class districts of Ul'dah, a coyly-worded invitation clutched in your hand. The name Twisted Lotus has long been associated with pleasure here, but only recently has it been open to all to enjoy, regardless of status. As you pass by the improbably manicured grass lawns, wondering at the luxury that allows their owners to grow such a thing in this arid climate, you eventually come to a high hedge wall scattered with roses. You follow it to find wrought iron gate, set with a pink stained glass flower in the center, towering over you. A small sign is posted on the gate:

The Twisted Lotus Dungeon Club is a private lounge and professional dungeon space catering to kinky players aged 21 and over. The Legend of the Lotus

The building that is now known as the Twisted Lotus Dungeon Club was once the personal salon of the famed Roegadyn courtesan Twisted Lotus. After entertaining Ul'dah's elite for over forty-five years, "Miss Twisted," as she was most commonly known, finally chose to retire from her public life shortly after the events related to the End of Days, taking a comfortable permanent position instead with one of her longest standing clients. As she worked independently, with no heir apparent to leave her holdings - or client list - in Ul'dah to, the question of what would happen to her estate was in question for some time, until a mysterious but apparently very well-connected individual purchased the building outright.With no evident interest in running a courting business themselves, but a desire to continue the legend of the place they now owned (or perhaps just profit from it), this so-called Benefactor instead turned the decision of what to do with their new purchase to two of their employees. They turned their experience in the lifestyle - and a few of the stories of Miss Twisted's more extraordinary services - into an open kink dungeon and lounge space for those in the lifestyle. When the time came to choose a name for the new business, the team chose to honour the building's original owner and named their venue the Twisted Lotus Dungeon Club after her.Since opening to the public over a year and a half ago, the Lotus has attracted a niche but loyal clientele, providing both entertainment - as the building always has been used for - as well as education in the form of public seminars and private lessons for interested clientele.

Lore Fun Facts

- Your invitation is printed on black cardstock with gold embossed lettering.
- Happiness Juice is fluorescent orange and gives off a soft glow. It tastes different to everyone; usually like something comforting or that reminds the drinker of something/someone they love.
- The secret ingredient in Happiness Juice is Audrey's pollen/spores. It's powerful enough that it's contained under lock and key.
- The Benefactor is not aware of the fact that "meeting with the benefactor" is on the menu. The hope is that Mun and Floki will be able to soften the blow of "you have to come meet this person" by waving 500 million gil around like a carrot on a stick.
- If Floki is working the bar, it's because he literally got shackled to it.
- Rattan vines grow in the walls of the garden - but be careful, they have thorns before they're processed!

The Benefactor

No one is quite sure who Mun and Floki's mysterious business partner is, and when asked, the pair will simply grin and say "oh, just the big boss at our workplace." Whoever they are, they either doesn't seem to care much about partaking in the club's pleasures, or else are keeping themselves very well undercover - but theories abound. A powerful member of the Syndicate? A dignitary come to Eorzea from far-off lands? An elder dragon who just wants a break from Dravanian politics? Or perhaps it's a person of much smaller countenance...

Out-Of-Character Rules

1. All participants must be 21 or older, playing original characters who are 21 or older. Roleplaying canon NPCs is not permitted on open nights.
2. Please review the search icon system on the homepage of our Carrd. Our guests use search icons to indicate their preferred level of interaction. Interacting with someone who has indicated they do not wish to have others approach them without prior consent is grounds for a ban.
3. PRIVACY IS PARAMOUNT. Respectful lurkers are welcome, but do not stream inside our venue or take screenshots of our participants. If we see you in gpose on an open night, you will be kicked out (yes, even if you were just taking pictures of the decor).
4. This is an IC/OOC high separation space. If someone isn't offering information about themselves as a player to you, don't ask for it.
5. Please hide sheathed weapons before entering, unless you've paid the weapon fee. This helps to prevent instance congestion and speeds load times for other guests.
6. As we are intended to be an immersive venue, try to keep OOC chatting in public chat channels to a minimum and ensure that it is clearly demarcated using brackets/an OOC tag, or similar indication. /shout and /yell are reserved for staff only.
7. Please be respectful to our neighbours and do not ERP or discuss kink in /em, /say, or any other public chat channel while outside the venue.
8. The performance of ageplay, noncon (including CNC), scat/watersports, gore/vore, snuff, and any scene that purposefully 'goes wrong' or flouts etiquette are not allowed in any public chat channels. What consenting players do in the privacy of their own party chat/tells/DMs is not our business. (Discussion of the existence of these topics, without using them in a scene, is permitted.) Breaking of this rule constitutes a consent violation and is grounds for an immediate ban with no appeal.LALAFELL CLAUSE: Lalas are welcome to come enjoy the upstairs bar and lounge as long as your character is unambiguously an adult. However, we ask that Lalafell players kindly stay out of the basement. Lalafell are also prohibited from openly performing/soliciting kink or ERP in public chat channels and using sexually suggestive emotes/clothing.

In-Character Rules

1. No one under 21 is permitted to enter.
2. Clothing is optional once inside, but if you do choose to stay dressed, please follow the dress code: classy when you can, kinky when you can't! Formalwear, leather, lingerie, and fetish attire/costume are all appropriate. Work clothes and heavy armour are not.
3. It's cool if you're just here to drink and socialise, but drunken play is not allowed. You may have a single alcoholic drink, to the point that your judgement will not be impaired, before play. Our bouncers can and will check your aether stability levels if you join us in the play space and we suspect you may have overindulged - and our resident healer will sober you up with a spell if necessary, for a small fee.
4. Blades and other sharp implements longer than six ilms must be checked at the door. If you want something bigger, come see us at the front desk and we'll see what we can do.
5. For safety reasons, bloodplay, scat/watersports, and live open flames are not allowed on the main dungeon floor. Please go to the wetroom if you want to keep your scene public, or rent a private space. For purposes of this rule 'bloodplay' means anything that involves open bloodflow, including blood drinking - a small incidental scratch is okay; deliberately invoking blood is not.
6. Cleanup from your scenes is your responsibility. You can purchase a magic broom from our front desk if you've neglected to bring your own.
7. If you're ever unsure about any points of normal dungeon etiquette, please ask our staff so we can help guide you. As a general rule, it's usually okay if you want to watch at a distance, but don't bust into other people's scenes without asking first. And if someone asks you to step away, listen.
8. Not even most of our staff know who the benefactor is, but you're welcome to keep asking... so long as you like big fish stories.

IN ALL THINGS THE CLUB MANAGEMENT HAVE THE FINAL SAY. We reserve the right to ban you if we believe you are participating in bad faith or are being disruptive to other guests even if you have not violated a specific rule. You are still beholden to these rules whether or not you remembered to review them. They are in place for EVERYONE'S safety. You come to our dungeon; you play by our rules. Full stop.

Consort Services

Twisted Lotus' professional consorts offer personal E/RP sessions at their own discretion and may accept or refuse bookings for any reason. Sessions can take place in open OR closed chat channels. No gil will be exchanged until both staff and customer(s) have agreed OOC on the type of scene and what chat to hold it in. Your time does not start until after negotiations are complete. Please pay your consort directly. All scenes include aftercare free of charge.PAYMENTS ARE FINAL. You will not receive a refund if you or your consort wish to end the session early. Furthermore, if you choose to book a session with less than 30 minutes left until closing, staff are not obligated to stay late for you.

If what you want to do requires skin-to-skin touching of body parts on either party that would normally be covered by underwear/a bra, then it gets thrown into the 'sexual' category. So something like a flogging on thighs or shoulders would count as nonsexual, but a bare-assed spanking would be sexual, even if there's no genital contact.All forms of fluid exchange including blood and saliva as well as anything that involves orgasm (or the specific lack thereof, such as in orgasm control/denial) are considered sexual. Room #1: Nucifera Suite

The original personal rooms of the famed courtesan Twisted Lotus, for whom our venue is named. A lush and well appointed suite with a bed able to sleep five and which provides extensive attachment points for containing your harem. You may also enjoy the sitting area, wine bar, and stage for dancing or exhibition.

Room #2: The Benefactor's Office

A room that definitely exists solely for management meetings with the big boss. And not for any nefarious sexy purposes. Definitely. (Come here for your boss/secretary roleplay, or if you want to work on your best ScroogeMcApkallu impression!)

Room #5: Honeymoon Suite

Need a place to celebrate after your collaring ceremony? This suite provides the perfect space to "get to know" your new lover, with an array of cozy spaces to relax, a variety of provided sensation play toys, St Reymanaud's cross, and a bed that sleeps three. You can even cover them in chocolate fondue - unless, of course, you're more interested in the skewers. Also makes a great space for sissification play!

Got yourself in trouble? Our jail cells are just the place to keep you locked up, and there's plenty of 'interrogation' devices to help make sure you don't hide anything! Although it seems that one of the cells may already be occupied...

The perfect space for high protocol scenes, handfeeding, tea ceremonies, and more! The table is /doze-able for those who wish to serve as a platter. (We are aware it says "open" and not locked/private in-game; it will be fixed when we're able!)

When we're not doing educational seminars, the lecture hall is a great space for your spicy teacher/student roleplay.

Room #11: The Queen's Chambers

An extravagant throne room complete with viewing gallery and plenty of space for your loyal subjects to kneel in supplication. Should the queen allow you to proceed beyond the throne, you'll find a custom cage bed and other entertainment amenities.

Room #13: Lutea Room

This Hingan-inspired abode is the perfect place to practice (or showcase) your shibari and aerial silk endeavours. In addition to the rope workspace and bondage bench, you'll be able to relax under the moonlight in the window seat (it's /doze-able!), peaceful bath, or intimate bed for two.

VIP suites are currently located in the apartment complex next door to the venue. These rooms are locked until purchased, and we can lock them behind you by request during your session. Ultimately our goal is to incorporate VIP rooms into the main venue, but due to space constraints, we are using this solution until then! Please note that while all VIPs are allowed to use these rooms, Camellia tier will still pay normal rates. Orchid and Hyacinth tiers may use these rooms for free, but please alert us first so we can prepare it for you!

Apartment #9: Chantrieri Penthouse

A jazzy, moody Art Deco penthouse with a bed that sleeps four and includes ample attachment points as well as a station for bootblacking or other worshipful activities. Relax with a cigar or a drink at the bar before you scene, or cuddle on the couches by the fire afterward.

Apartment #15: Cerasus Lodge

A VIP-only "extension" on our back garden, this indoor-outdoor lodge provides beautiful views from the comfort of a bed, or engage in a session with the spanking bench without sacrificing the natural beauty around you. A picnic area and a hot spring under the stars are also provided.

In her spare time, Audrey enjoys listening to the Majestic Theatre Company's inroads into operetta and trying to convince her botanist caretaker to let her snuggle him as much as she would like. Anyone is welcome to use Audrey as an "NPC" in their personal scenes, but she does also exist as a discrete character! Although Audrey will often interact playfully with patrons on her own, booking a session with her is treated the same as booking a session with a consort, as it requires someone be available to RP her! Dungeon Tour

You'll be welcomed into our reception area by one of our lovely hosts. To the right you'll find a changing area wherein you can strip off your armour and store your weapons (or wait for those pesky Mare load bars), as well as our "naughty pet jail." To the left, you'll find our shop area. We're stocked with attire, toys, potions, and more for you to enjoy. Bring home a little piece of the dungeon with you! Curious about something but unsure how to try it? Our staff will happily explain or even - for the right price - demonstrate.

Head upstairs and you'll arrive in our bar and lounge area! Our bartender will keep you satisfied with food and drinks if you wish, or you're welcome to just spend your time lounging and relaxing.

Enter the basement and you'll find yourselves in our unique, custom-designed play space! Our amenities include a wooden horse/breeding bench, two four-point restraint tables, an area with hardpoints and soft mats for suspension, a St. Reymanaud's Cross, and adjustable-height stocks to accommodate all from the most petite Au Ra to the tallest Roegadyn! We're especially proud of our bondage Spider's Web, and of course our local friendly tentacle monster Audrey, who you won't find at any other dungeon in Eorzea! Don't worry, she's very polite - unless you ask her not to be. For patrons who prefer a slightly more intimate experience, but still wish to be close to the action, you'll find our 'sex den' just off the main dungeon space, and for those who wish to participate a little more anonymously, a glory hole at the end of the hall.

Open Side Rooms

Our open side rooms, while located in the 'private chambers' area, can be entered by anyone at any time. Please feel free to use as if they are a part of the main dungeon. You'll know them by the marked [OPEN] indicator on the door!

The Aftercare Lounge (Room #3) is a warm and cozy space to relax after a scene or simply hang out. The curtains on the beds in the back can be closed for those who desire privacy, or sit on the couches and pillows or at the kotatsu if you'd like a more social experience. A small snack bar and first aid station are also provided. Please note that sexual contact is not allowed in the aftercare lounge.

The Back Garden (Room #4) is one of the spaces we're proudest of here. Finally, a space where you can enjoy your outdoor sex and primal encounters freely! Whether you're after a romantic picnic, steamy hot spring sex, or a literal roll in the hay, be sure to explore to find just everything our extra space has to offer. There's still tucked away corners yet to be found!

The Wetroom is your space for messy scenes (as detailed in our dungeon rules) as well as cleanup before and after. It also includes our facilities for fireplay!
